Lavender and Tea Tree Oil to Kitchen Cabinets and Eliminate Windows

Lavender and tea tree oils not just add a fresh scent for your home made snacks, but they also have antimicrobial properties that help remove bacteria. Use them to wash windows and cabinets to leave your home sparkling clean and smelling good too. Cut through tough dirt by adding other basic household ingredients that price a small but clean a lot. Mix up a batch of essential-oil cleaner and recycle an old spray bottle, along with your homemade cleaner is good for the kitchen along with the earth.

Window Cleaner

Pour 1/2-cup white vinegar into a spray bottle and add 2 cups of water.

Add 5 drops lavender oil and 5 drops tea tree oil 10 drops of one oil to the mixture.

Shake the jar to mix the components.

Spray your windows with the solution. For tough dirt, allow the cleaner to sit 5 minutes.

Wipe the windows using a soft cloth or paper towel.

Cabinet Cleaner

Insert 1-teaspoon liquid soap, such as dishwashing liquid or Castile soap, to a spray bottle. Fill the jar with water.

Add 5 drops lavender oil and 5 drops tea tree oil or 10 drops of just 1 oil to the remedy.

Shake the bottle gently to combine the components. Allow the bottle sit until the suds go down.

Spray a soft, white cloth or paper towel using the solution and wipe down the cabinets.

Rinse the cloth or wet a paper towel with plain water. Wring it out and wipe the cabinets again.

Dry the cabinets using a soft, white cloth or dry paper towel.
